What did we do well?

Our group did well on our structure. It was stable even with our swivel feature. The styrofoam on the outside was trustworthy and stood up through the battles. We also did well with the arms as they were what helped us win. We could’ve done the swivel feature differently as we weren't able to touch the robot in the battles. Next time, we would use a more mechanical form even though it probably wouldn't be able to duck or move back which is what we have now.

What are some design decisions our group made? What changes did we make?

Some design decisions our group made was the swivel originally, we had one metal stick in the body. We noticed that it didn't work very well and often fell to the side. To change this we added weights to the side of the wire. This balanced the body to stay upward and the weights slid across the cork base as well as stayed upright.

What do you think might have improved the “Contest”?

I think that the contest would've benefited with rules from the very beginning. Since the rules were not made before designing, our design was not permitted and it was too late to change as that navigating the stand was the full idea of our robot.
