Jeremiah William and Josh's Rockem Sockem Bot ---------------------------------------------------------------

Process: To make the bot, we used a combination of popsicle sticks and hot glue + weights
to form the helicopter shape and base. Originally in the design we planned on having a
four bladed top but we opted for a two bladed top for the sake of time and the chance of
there being too much weight. The base was originally planned to be a half circle and
a bit lower but we were running out of time and chose a simpler, safer design.

Our group supported the base of our bot well, as it did not tip over once. We could have worked on the weapon a bit more, as it was lackluster. The weapon lacked power and speed, but it was able to get a couple of good hits in against other bots in the tournament.

Some design decisions our group made were changing the base from a short circle shaped support structure to a grid of sticks going up to a helicopter like weapon attached at the top. Some changes I made include changing the design of the weapon from a four bladed attatchment to a two-bladed attachment.

Some things that might have improved the “Contest” would have been a clear definition of what a “hit” was, and a clearer winner for each round would have been better. The idea of taking a group vote from the class was a good idea too since there wasn't really a very clear winner in each fight.
